Considering the shifts in SEO survival, 2012 has been quite an
eventful year. There have been several important updates that have
changed the search scene altogether.<br />
A massive crackdown on spam
sites through the EMD updates was not the only scathing step taken by
Google. Google updates its algorithm over 500 times a year in order to
weed out low quality sites from the top positions. Google will never
stop its relentless run to make search results more relevant.<br />
Search
engine optimization, as it stands today, is no longer child’s play. It
has become quite challenging and innovative strategies are required to
attain better rankings.<br />
So what is the outlook for SEO in 2013?
The answer to this question is still vague, as people are not sure about
the updates that are to occur in 2013. Fierce arguments are still
raging regarding the Google updates that may take place. While some
believe that the future lies in content marketing, others believe that
social media presence will be the key. Others continue to resort to
blackhat SEO methods that may land them on Google’s hitlist.<br />
Based
on what I hear people saying and see people doing, and my understanding
of the proposed Google updates that may take place, here is a list of
major changes in SEO you can expect to occur in 2013.<br />
<br />
How Google handles Author Rank will
be the biggest search factor in 2013. It may turn the entire internet
marketing world upside down.<br />
Google will assign each blogger an
Author Rank based on various parameters such as niche authority and
domain expertise. This Rank will be given a major role in ranking the
content authored by that author. Simply speaking, the higher the rank
and reputation of the author, the higher are the chances of their
content ranking well in search engines. Also, an author’s published
content will be directly linked to their Google+ profile, thereby
drawing Google+ into SEO calculations. So, with the mooted Author Rank
update, performance of a site will depend more upon the reputation and
niche expertise of the content’s author in social networks.<br />
<h2>
Equivalency Score Algorithm</h2>
Another
major update that is expected to take place in 2013 is the Google
Equivalency Score Algorithm (ESA). ESA is expected to work in the same
way as Google Adword’s Quality Score where each keyword is given a point
score based on several factors. The quality score of the keywords is
then used along with the bid amount of the advertiser and the ads are
ranked accordingly. ESA, if operationalized, will have a huge impact on
online businesses. It will effectively cut down the monopoly of some
websites on number one rankings and will create a more level playing
field for all businesses. One effect of this is that Google may display
the same results for a search query in different orders each time the
results appear on screen.<br />
<h2>
Link Disavow Tool</h2>
The Link
Disavow Tool was created to collect data on the backlink structure of
sites. Chances are that Google will use this tool in 2013 to create an
algorithm using the links that have already been submitted to them. The
tool will be used to improve reporting of spam sites and poor quality
backlinks. Consequently, blog posts and forum posts can no longer be
used to create backlinks.<br />
<h2>
Social media presence</h2>
SEO in
2013 will be heavily influenced by the numerous social networks and the
development and utilisation of an effective social media presence. Site
owners and technicians have to carve a niche out for themselves in
social media if they want their sites to do well in search rankings.
Sharing of content on social networks like Facebook, Twitter,
StumbleUpon, Pinterest, Delicious, LinkedIn, MySpace and Google+ will be
of the utmost importance. Social media popularity will, in a way,
decide the fate of a site as far as Google is concerned.<br />
The
reason Google gives such importance to the social media presence of a
site is yet to be definitively ascertained. But there are many theories
out there regarding this. Social media presence is proof that the
traffic finds the content of a site useful. However, many say that
Google will do this to give its staggering Google+ a boost. Many believe
that in the days to come, Google+ might just emerge as the most
important social network for webmasters.<br />
<h2>
Digital marketing</h2>
Digital
marketing will also play a big role in 2013. Digital marketing will
slowly include the entire spectrum of online marketing from
market-purposed content creation, through pay-per-click strategies, to
use of social media. Because of certain expected Google updates, this
will get a big boost and chances are that more and more brands will come
into the digital marketing field in time.<br />
<h2>
No Fundamental Changes in SEO</h2>
Having
started by explaining how SEO will fundamentally change in 2013, let me
close by saying that the foundation of SEO is going to remain the same.
Whether web owners and professionals like it or not, content will
continue as the king online. High quality, well-written, expertly
displayed, functionally useful content will still hold the key to
ranking well for target search terms. Any site needs to have compelling
and unique content that has good readability and provides a rich user
experience. Half the search battle is won if a website follows this
cardinal rule, and that will only become more true in 2013 and beyond.<br />
Currently
accepted link building practices such as viral article submission and
automated link posting won’t work any more, as the basis for them
affecting search results is revealed as artifical. Google began the
tough scrutiny of backlinks in 2012, and this will continue in 2013.<br />
While
we must wait to see just how Google and other search giants implement
their strategies for 2013, it can be taken for granted that their
efforts to keep search results organically honest, relevant and useful
to consumer will have an impact on the industry that has developed
around search engine optimization. Whether the effects of that are good
or bad, for consumers and the industry, remains to be seen.<br />
What about you? Are you ready for 2013? Do you foresee other ways in which search will change next year and beyond?<br />

<br />
<br />
Somehow, in a Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure crossed with Michael Pollan’s Food Rules moment, I found myself typing out the following. No patents or whitepapers were involved in the creation of this post.<br />
<h4 style="text-align: left;">
One URL per Page</h4>
In an ideal world, your site architecture should be set up so that
search engine crawlers are only able to visit each page of your site at
one web address, and no more. You may be laughing, but when Google sends
you the “I give up, your site has too many URLs” message in Google
Webmaster Tools, you won’t be then. Seriously.<br />
<h4 style="text-align: left;">
Keep Colors and Sizes Together</h4>
If you create multiple product pages where the only thing different
is offering the product in red or green or blue, or small or medium or
large, you are creating too many pages. True when you decide to let
“email a friend” pages get indexed, and “Add to my wishlist,” and
“Compare Products” and other pages that Google doesn’t want in its index
either.<br />
<span id="more-9975"></span><br />
<h4 style="text-align: left;">
Meta Describe the Page</h4>
The purpose of a meta description is to provide “user agents” like
search engine crawlers and social sharing sites with a single
description for each page that tells people what that specific page is
about, and persuades them to visit the page when they see it somewhere
other than on the site itself. Cause if you don’t include a useful, well
written, and approximately 150 character long meta description that
includes the keywords you’re aiming for, search engines might decide to
use whatever they want as a snippet. Sometimes it’s something you can’t
un-see.<br />
<h4 style="text-align: left;">
To Be or Not to Be a Title</h4>
Every page on a site should have a unique title (<title>) that
describes the page, and uses unique language that people interested in
what the page offers might search with and expect to see on the page.
Would you buy books that don’t have titles on their covers? (That would
be a fun library.)<br />
<h4 style="text-align: left;">
Do Headless Horsemen Haunt You?</h4>
Your website doesn’t have to use main headings (<h1>) that tell
visitors what a page is about, but if it does, use them to tell people
what the pages are really about. A main heading can act as if it’s the
on-page title for that page, and it can use keywords within it that
people searching for the page might use to search for it. And that
heading may help the page rank higher for those words.<br />
<h4 style="text-align: left;">
Alt Means Alternative</h4>
If someone can’t see your meaningful picture that adds value to your
page, describe it for them with alt text, so that they can get an idea.
Use alt=”" for decorative pictures and bullet points, because those
things really don’t need to be described to anyone, including search
engines. (It’s really no fun to rank in the top ten for “blue arrow”
because your bullet points are blue arrows, and your alt text for the
bullets calls them that – true story.)<br />
<h4 style="text-align: left;">
Underscores Underwhelm</h4>
When you create file and directory names for web pages and pictures,
you can provide a hint of what the page or directory or picture is about
when you use words in a name that describes it. You can let the words
run all together, but sometimes the result of doing so can be
unfortunate in that search engines might segment that text differently
than you expect, and sometimes embarrassingly so. You can separate the
words with a number of different symbols, but hyphens are known to be
separators that search engines understand as separators, and underscores
are separators that search engines are known to not acknowledge as
separators. Google understands “page-title” as “Page Title”. Google
understands “page_title” only as “page_title”. <br />
<h4 style="text-align: left;">
Madlibs is a Kid’s Game, Not a Content Strategy</h4>
The game that allowed people to take turns filling in words (a noun, a
verb, and adjective, etc.) in text resulted in pretty funny tales
sometimes, as a sort of parlor game. Having multiple pages on a site
where the text is substantially the same except for different keywords
being inserted on different pages isn’t among the best ways of producing
content for a site, and has been criticized in the past by people like
the head of Google’s Webspam team, Matt Cutts.<br />
<h4 style="text-align: left;">
To a Picture, Everything’s Meta Data</h4>
Search engines are working on identifying objects and people in
images, and having an idea of what they are about, but it’s still a work
in progress. (They just figured out cats
last summer, so you might be safe with pictures of those.) Search
Engines use data outside of pictures to identify what those images are
about, such as a file name, alt text, a caption (within the same HTML
container as the picture), and surrounding text on a page the picture
appears upon. Use your chance to meta data pictures wisely.<br />
<h4 style="text-align: left;">
Lack of Speed Kills</h4>
The speed at which pages are delivered to visitors, and the time that
takes those pages to load and render may be so slow that they abandon
your pages, or click another result at Google because your page isn’t
showing up. Having pages render quickly is a good user experience, and
having them render slowly can cause visitors to leave.<br />
<i>What are your Top 10 SEO Rules?</i><br />
Note: these might not necessarily be my “top Ten,” but they’re the first ten that I thought of short rules for.<br />

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">
<b>Measuring SEO success by your ranking position for your favorite keywords means falling behind the curve.</b><br />
With users' behaviors and Google's algorithms rapidly and constantly
changing, measuring SEO success by your ranking position for your
favorite keywords means falling behind the curve. Here are the most
meaningful metrics for SEO for 2013.<br />
<h3>
<b>1. Focus on Your Keyword Portfolio, Not Rankings</b></h3>
Search engine users are getting smarter and more specific. Today, over <a href="http://blog.hubspot.com/blog/tabid/6307/bid/28912/The-Ultimate-Guide-for-Mastering-Long-Tail-Search.aspx" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">70 percent</a> of searches online contain three or more words in the search query. Furthermore, Google reported that over <a href="http://readwrite.com/2007/06/21/udi_manber_search_is_a_hard_problem" rel="nofollow">20 percent</a> of
search queries are completely new queries that had never been searched
before! The long tail is where the growth is happening, and your
strategy needs to be built around this growth.<br />
Focusing on "fat head" keywords is an unbalanced strategy with
diminishing returns. Marketers need to focus on increasing the number of
keywords sending search traffic rather than improving a specific
keyword position. This is known as your keyword portfolio.<br />
<h3>
<b>2. Create Problem-Solving Content</b></h3>
Creating great content isn't rocket science. If you have trouble
coming up with ideas, or you think your industry is too boring, focus
instead on solving a customer's problem. This can be done easily by
utilizing your organization's intellectual property to create how-to
guides, white papers, or research studies. If you're in business, then
you're solving problems! Combine people, processes, and software to <a href="http://www.slingshotseo.com/blog/how-the-enterprise-can-scale-content-marketing/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">scale content marketing</a>.<br />
<h3>
<b>3. Publish Content on Quality Sources</b></h3>
Last year's <a href="http://www.inc.com/aaron-aders/what-you-need-to-know-about-googles-penguin-update.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Penguin update</a> eliminated
the value of content published on untrusted websites. This includes
low-quality websites, content farms and many "free" PR websites. Showing
up in Google search is a lot like getting a job--it's your references
that make the difference. Concentrate on earning references from high
quality and trusted industry websites. Industry organizations and online
communities are where you should be publishing content on a regular
basis.<br />
<h3>
<b>4. Distribute and Promote Content through Social Media</b></h3>
Social media is an extremely efficient channel for distributing and
promoting your content. This includes content that you publish on your
website, as well as content that you publish on highly trusted
third-party websites. Social media channels enable you to reach millions
instantly, as well as stay on the radar of search engine algorithms for
topics related to your content. Google and Bing have both admitted to
using social signals in their ranking algorithms, so social media
engagement is a must-do for digital marketers.<br />
Never before have SEO and inbound marketing had more potential for
digital marketers. When executed effectively, these strategies will
drive leads, attract customers, and grow your brand's community.<br />

#1- <strong>Submit in Free Directories</strong>: <br />
You can find specific directories by searching for terms such as “your keywords + add url”, “your keywords + submit” or “your keywords + directory”.<br />
A good free directory list: <br />
<b>http://www.addurl.nu/</b><br />
#2- <strong>Writing Articles </strong>: <br />
Write articles and publish them in Ezine Websites. Put your website URL in the end of articles. <br />
Some website to publish your articles: <br />
<b>www.goarticles.com<a href="http://www.blogger.com/goog_1062293225"><br />
</a> www.articlesfactory.com<a href="http://www.blogger.com/goog_1062293225"><br />

</a> www.ideamarketers.com</b><br />
#3- <strong>Exchange Link networks</strong>: <br />
Use link exchange networks. A few of the more popular ones are: <br />
www.linkmetro.com <br />
<b>www.LinkPartners.com<br />
www.links4trade.com<br />
www.linksmanager.com</b><br />
Exchange link with relevant websites. Inbound links from these sites have more weight to search engines. <br />
#4- <strong> Forums</strong>: <br />
Join forums and place links to your site(s) in your signature line. To get quality inbound links sign up in relevant forums to your site. To find relevant forums search “your keyword+forum” in search engines. <br />
<strong># </strong>5- <strong>Email requests</strong>: <br />
- Search for your main keywords and find the websites that are competing with you. Then find their inbound links by searching " link:www.searched-domain.com ". Email them and ask for a link exchange. <br />
- Search for quality sites that don't compete with your own site but can complement it, and ask them for a link exchange.<br />
<h3>Avoid these inbound links: </h3>-FFA (Free For All) pages where links can be obtained by any means without scrutiny, and you may receive so many spam emails.<br />
-Auto linking software: using them is a waste of timeUnknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2045317314769145889.post-80899125096964829542011-07-07T18:31:00.001-07:002011-07-07T18:31:29.996-07:00Which Website is the Best for Link Exchange?<h2>Criteria of Exchanging Link </h2><strong>What criteria and tips we should use while exchanging links with other websites? </strong><br />
#1- <strong>Quality of Inbound Links </strong>: <br />
Notice that the quality of incoming links is important. Sometimes 10 well trusted links have more value than 100 less impressive links. <br />
#2- <strong>Relevant Websites </strong>:<br />
Exchange links with relevant websites. Google and other Search Engine Robots give a lot of weight to relevancy. <br />
#3- <strong>Fewer Outbound Links </strong>:<br />
Pay attention to the number of links on the webpage. Exchange links with pages that have fewer than 25 outbound links, because page rank of the page will be divided among outbound links. For example link from a webpage with only 5 outbound links is more valuable than a link from the same webpage with 10 outbound links. <br />
#4- <strong>Link at the main page </strong>: <br />
Make sure that the website you want to exchange link has been a link at the main page to link page directory. It causes a higher page rank and traffic for link page directory. <br />
#5- <strong>Categorized Link Directory </strong>:<br />
It is better that they categorize their directory, some websites don't categorize their links and getting traffic from these sites is a few. <br />
#6- <strong>Content Pages </strong>: <br />
A link on the bottom of a good content page is always better value than a link on a directory page as more people are likely to click on it. <br />
#7- <strong>Indexed with Google </strong>:<br />
Do exchanging link with websites that be indexed with Google. You can check that by typing their domain name (www.example.com) into Google search box. It is not important that what website links to you, but if you link to a website that is banned by search engines, they may remove you from their index too. <br />
#8- <strong>Vary Link Text </strong>:<br />
Use your primary keywords in anchor text, and also use varies keywords. This will make it appear as natural linking to search engines. <br />
<strong>Conclusion:<br />
</strong>The quality of inbound links is important. So try to exchange link whit relevant websites and use your keywords in anchor text. Don't forget a good link exchange brings traffic to your website.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2045317314769145889.post-14668649573593141062011-04-01T07:00:00.000-07:002013-01-29T01:51:14.170-08:00SEO Services in india<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">

<span style="font-size: small;">India is one of the most developing countries of the present world and it is developing everyday and almost every second. One of the most important factors for this development is internet. And with internet comes websites, website developers and last but not the least the SEO. SEO has emerged to be one of the most important parts in website publishing. And so has emerged the SEO companies in India. As a matter of fact, the most important factor behind the emerging of these SEO companies is the target users or the common net surfers. A website can never reach to its readers without getting optimized by any SEO specialist. It's kind of a cycle, websites, SEO services and common people.</span></div>

<span style="font-size: small;">An important part of learning is the ability to analyze a situation and once a person understands why something was done and why something works when done a certain way, the person gains the ability to understand and thus to analyze. So with this in mind, let's look at why the title tag is important concerning SEO.</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-size: small;">Both pay-per-click and SEO are targeted to get your website placed as close to the top of search engine results as possible. Marketing and SEO are different, yet very, very similar. SEO are considered as the main factors in enhancing the traffic of one's website. The concepts of good SEO are hardly a secret. The people who least understands issues with URL structure and SEO are the very people who create them: web developers, programmers, and software developers.<br />
<br />
Many long-time SEO's are now looking at the big picture and working with usability analysts. Some SEO are scam artists. I find it interesting that so many newcomers are given the wrong impression that there is one almighty answer to doing well in search engines. SEO are specialized techniques used to optimize your web site, to be Search engine friendly and increase your chances of placing well in searches. But SEO can also be the most profitable methods of driving leads because any leads you receive from SEO are free leads.<br />
There are a large number of companies that adopt a fast and unethical approach to SEO known as Black Hat SEO. They employ unethical techniques that are against search engine policies. The best results from SEO are rarely achieved overnight. Black hat SEO are the techniques used to fool the search engines in order to bring in more traffic to websites. Website owners who unknowingly utilize black hat techniques of SEO are more vulnerable to changes in search engine algorithms and faced being banned.<br />
Most hardcover books on the subject of SEO are best viewed as a vehicle to help the beginner understand the process of Search engine optimization. This is because the principles behind SEO are not easy. They are very informative and most webmasters are involved in SEO and using it. White hat and black hat SEO are two opposing views of how to do search engine optimization. In a nutshell, SEO are methods that aim to improve the position or rank of a website in the listings produced by search engines. The benefits of SEO are almost unlimited.<br />
Watch out for SEO Tools and software that is outdated and totally useless. Always research before you buy any SEO software because the search engine Algorithms are constantly changing thereby improving their search technologies to provide the most relevant results for their users. SEO tools for Google, MSN and Yahoo are numerous. SEO tools for press release optimization were also launched by PRWeb at the end of June called SEO Wizard. Search engine optimization is not easy, but with the right SEO tools, your website promotion task just got a lot easier. Blogs are one of the best SEO tools around and some like WordPress are free. Google Sitemaps' are a powerful SEO tools which you can get free by visiting my website.<br />
MSN has launched a suite of SEO tools to go with their Pay Per Click product Adcenter. There are many SEO tools available on the internet, some are better then others, and some are not. Header tags, proper Keyword density, proper text formatting fonts, start text key-phrase as whole phrases, alt image tag text, links pointing to your site and each page and your domain name itself are some things to pay attention too. Many specialized SEO tools can help you determine the popularity and the competitiveness of your possible keywords and can help improve your search engine ranking particularly in Google.<br />
<br />
Writing fresh content for SEO plays a large role in keeping visitors on a web site. Let's talk unique web page content and SEO content strategy. Finding a good SEO content writer is easier than you think. Just run a Google search or checkout elance.com. What is good SEO Content? It is unique, quality information that your visitors can use and is helpful to them. RSS feeds are an invaluable tool in the SEO india toolbox. If you scrape SEO content and end up scraping a couple spam pages, you may get noticed even more because someone is investigating the other spam pages. </span></div>
